This is the personal website of the Second Life® virtual world avatar RobbyRacoon Olmstead, sometimes also known in-world as Takuan Daikon.
In that virtual world I’m perhaps best known for my role as one of the Combat: Samurai Island developers, and maker of the Daikon Forge line of C:SI weapons. Because of this, I will very frequently post articles about C:SI, but it should always be understood that this website is not an official part of C:SI, and anything I say here should not be taken as an official position, nor should it be misunderstood as having been endorsed by other C:SI developers. All official announcements regarding the Combat: Samurai Island combat system will be made on the official C:SI website.
In “real life” I am a software developer, devoted husband, father of four, and avid martial arts fan, so I will frequently post about those topics as well as pretty much anything else that comes to mind on any given day.
You can feel free to send me an IM in-world anytime you wish, and I will certainly do my best to respond, but please be understanding if I don’t respond right away; it’s almost certainly not personal, I’m just human, and a busy human at that.
