I don’t even know what to say about this one, it’s just completely astounding to me.
What kind of messed up quality assurance process not only allows a completely borked up viewer like this one go public, but on top of that makes it mandatory?
Words just cannot describe…

I love Windlight V1.18.6.77495 for 4 reaons:
1. The update version name rolls easily off the tongue.
2. I can see my C:SI weapons even when they are sheathed, just in case I accidentally attached one sheath and a totally different weapon.
3. Reliable crashes. No more suprise crashes.
4. The log-in screen states that all updates are now optional even though LL recommends the download…then the viewer helpfully guides you to a mandatory update upon the log-in attempt.
Windlight V1.18.6.77495, Windlight V1.18.6.77495, you’re so fine. You’re so fine you blow my mind.
Windlight V1.18.6.77495!!
Windlight V1.18.6.77495!!
I heard a bunch of people on Meiji discussing this version last night, and I didn’t understand how completely fucked up it was then because I hadn’t yet installed it.
At one point, Shattered Gumsing said some of the problems could be resolved by turning on Atmospheric Shaders, but that’s no solution at all because doing so cuts my FPS from 30 to 5. No shit.
I wish LL would understand that many of us could not possibly care less about pretty skies and harshly reflective water and way the hell too much HDR bloom everywhere one looks if it means that we have *less* usability than before.
I simply cannot understand the confusion of thinking that leads to updates like this, it’s just beyond me.
