Interesting. I usually read about tournaments and how good they were… after the fact. I wonder why communication is so crummy in the C:SI community? There has got to be some place that tournaments are posted? Yes, there is the offical C:SI web page of which I have never seen a tournament posted becuase most are unoffical. So how do you get of the “A” list for tournament communication.

Although that tournament was a bit of a special case, and what I’m about to mention is really an inter-clan tournament more than an official tourney, I’m sure that people would be interested in hearing about it.

I only happened to hear about this because I am in the Shadow Samurai clan (as a guest), so I recieve group notices. I am also in Tendai clan, and until I ran out of group slots and was forced to leave to make room for a business group (stupid things for Second Life to limit, grrr) I was also in Oda as a guest. At various times I’ve been a guest in other clans as well, so I do occasionally hear about such things.

I will try to be diligent about posting information about tournaments and events that I am aware of, but I am surely not aware of them all.

Clan leaders are strongly encouraged to post event notices on the official forums, and Esprite told me in-world today that when the new website (they are redoing it behind the scenes) is finished it will have an event calendar built-in.
