The forums are ripe with people voicing their very uninformed opinions. It is simply unimaginable that Linden Labs would make any major decision without much forethought, otherwise I doubt Second Life would have lasted as long as it has. I think mostly it's become in style to make fun of the Lindens whenever and however possible. People on the forums appear to enjoy complaining loudly more than anything else. I agree wholeheartedly.
